OFFICE VISITS
Duration of Office Visits: A typical office visit is 45 minutes.
Frequency of Office Visits: Many individuals maintain once or twice-weekly appointments. After a time, many clients elect to come every other week. When first starting off treatment, it is important to develop a rhythm and routine of weekly visits. Also, when too much time lapses between visits, most of the next session is usually spent playing “catch-up” with life’s events, and has a tendency to detract from more in-depth treatment.
Office Hours: Office hours: Monday through Thursday, and Saturdays.
FEES & PAYMENT:
Insurance: I participate with any insurance plan that is a “PPO” type plan or any insurance plan that has the “out of network” benefit.
Out-of-Network: As a courtesy I also process Out-of-Network claims. This means that if you have ‘Out-of-Network’ coverage under your insurance plan and I am not a participant in your healthplan (Aetna, Horizon, United Behavioral Health, as examples) I assume the responsibility of submitting and processing claims to your insurance company. This also means that your payment is nominal for each visit after deductibles are met. It is like paying a co-pay each visit. Feel free to discuss with me. I am happy to contact your insurance company and retrieve all the necessary details to see what your plan covers and does not cover.
Private payers: For those who either do not have insurance or choose to not go through their insurance, fees will be agreed upon during consult.
Sliding Fee: For clients who qualify, I do offer a sliding scale fee. If a spot is available, it is provided on a case by case basis, in consideration of your financial circumstances.
Cancellation and Late Policy: Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If a session is missed without cancelling, or a cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the appointment time, (health and emergencies notwithstanding) there is a $60 missed appointment fee.
Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, Personal Check, HSA/Flexible spending health insurance card, Credit/Debit card, Venmo.
